Notepad

Notepad is a fast, private notes app for everything you need to remember: quick notes, to-do lists, checklists with reminders, meeting notes, study notes, grocery lists with prices and a simple expense tracker, plus photos you can draw on and tables. It works offline and needs no account.

WRITE NOTES YOUR WAY
• Rich text on ruled notebook paper: bold, italic, underline, text colours, titles and headings
• Numbered and bulleted lists that continue as you type, with indentation
• Autosave as you type, plus undo and redo
• Pin important notes to the top and sort by last edited, date created or title
• Search every word of every note, including checklists, tables and meeting participants
• A home dashboard shows your notes, tasks done and upcoming reminders at a glance

CHECKLISTS, TO-DO LISTS AND REMINDERS
• Checklist notes for shopping lists, packing lists and daily to-dos
• Set a deadline on any note or checklist and get a reminder from 5 minutes to 2 days early, or every hour
• Live countdown to every deadline; snooze or mark done right from the notification
• A Tasks tab works as a simple task manager: every checklist and deadline with progress, overdue first

GROCERY LIST AND SHOPPING LIST WITH PRICES
• Add a price to each item and watch the total add up as you shop
• Ticked items count as spent in your expense tracker automatically

EXPENSE TRACKER AND BUDGET PLANNER
• Log expenses in seconds and set a monthly budget
• See spending by category and day by day with clear charts
• Works in any currency (Rs, ₹, €, $, ¥…), with a currency converter and up-to-date exchange rates

MEETING NOTES AND MINUTES
• Plan meetings with a time, place, participants and agenda
• Take meeting minutes right in the note and tick the agenda as you go
• Mark meetings attended, missed or cancelled, and see meeting reports with attendance and time spent

STUDY NOTES FOR STUDENTS
• Highlighter pens, key terms, definitions and Q&A cards for quick revision
• Animated study backgrounds like aurora, galaxy and starry night, with a readable text panel

STICKY NOTES ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• Add a sticky note widget for any note, checklist or photo, and add as many as you like
• Choose from 14 paper colours
• Tick checklist items right on the widget; widgets update automatically and open the note with one tap

PHOTOS AND IMAGE MARKUP
• Attach photos to any note from your gallery, no storage permission needed
• Draw on your photos: pen, highlighter, circle, box, text and eraser
• Add text in four fonts with an optional highlight, then drag it anywhere and resize it
• Your original photo is kept, so markup stays editable

TABLES IN YOUR NOTES
• Insert a table in two taps and edit cells right in the note
• Add or remove rows and columns
• Style each table: font, text size, alignment, header row, striped rows and colours

WRITE WITH A PEN OR STYLUS
• Built for S Pen and stylus pens: handwriting turns into text on supported devices
• Great on phones, foldables and tablets, with multi-column layouts on large screens

MAKE IT YOURS
• New Emerald Glass design, plus 12 more colour themes: Cyber Cyan, Crimson, Forest, Ocean, Sunset, Grape, Rose, Amber, Slate Mono, Mint and Indigo
• A frosted Glass look, light mode, dark mode, or follow your system, wallpaper colours on Android 12+ and 12 languages

SAFE AND PRIVATE
• Your notes, photos, reminders, meetings and expenses stay on your device and are never uploaded
• Back up and restore everything to a file, even across phones
• Deleted notes wait 30 days in Trash before they are removed
• Share text from any app straight into a new note, or share a note out
