Difficult to figure out a solution

I used to be able to use this app as needed, for instance I would turn it on and it would run until I selected it from the notification screen and chose "exit" after which it would turn off. Now it just runs in the background and the only way to stop getting calls is to uninstall the app. Other than that it works great. Note: I called in a ticket to Voipmuch about this issue a while ago but never heard back.
