User Reviews

Reviewers praise the app's motivational reading program and prizes, and say the timer is convenient. The most common complaints are unreliable book entry, with auto-fill and ISBN scanning failing or disappearing after updates. Many users also report login trouble, difficulty finding their library, and lost account data or progress. Others call the app dated, unintuitive, and tedious, noting that previously logged books keep reappearing and that goals are the same every summer.

Pros

Fun, motivational reading program with prizes for kids and adults
Scan feature worked for some users after an update
Timer function is convenient for logging reading time
Works well for library reading programs

Cons

Book entry is unreliable: auto-fill and title/author lookup often fail or stop working after updates
ISBN barcode scanning stopped working or disappeared, and many books fail to scan
Login problems, including trouble finding a library, lost passwords, and screens that stall
Account data was lost or wiped after updates, including progress for many books
Not user friendly, dated, and hard to understand, with confusing buttons and goals
Previously logged book keeps reappearing and cannot be removed, so users must re-enter books each time

Recent reviews

this recent update made the app work worse. now I have to type the entire title and author manually instead of getting an auto fill option. this stinks. it's sucking up all my summer vacation to type in the books and this crummy review. do better.

App has enabled the scan feature again. it works 90% of the time. only found a couple books that had to be entered manually. glad to have this feature back.
