ReadMeet was created to be a dating app for book readers. But we soon realized that readers wanted much more than a dating app. They wanted a dating app, but one that could also be used to build new relationships, friendships, and love, if and when the right conditions were right.

Today, ReadMeet has become exactly that: an app that transforms a passion for books into new relationships, friendships, and love, if and when the right conditions are right.

ReadMeet is also a community of people united by the profound value of a passion for books.

A community founded on and sharing values ​​such as mutual respect, acceptance, integration, overcoming gender differences, and non-violence.

ReadMeet's strength lies in two very specific and recognizable features:

Users build their profiles by adding as many books as they like, accompanied by quotes or reflections. Physical photos are included, but they are not mandatory, and users choose whether and when to see if another user has added one or not. It's very simple: just click on an icon in each user's profile, and their photos, if any, appear.

When building their profile, users must choose between one of four options, clearly visible later in the profile: "Love," "Just Friendship," "See You," and "New Acquaintances." When users initiate an interaction, they understand the expectations of the people they're about to chat with.

In the app, users can browse profiles or the community space.

You can start or participate in group conversations in the community space, or start private chats with another user.

But ReadMeet today is much more than just this app: it's a set of value propositions and services offered to book readers.
