User reviews largely fault Freesat’s Android app for removing remote recording and remote-control features, leaving only a basic TV guide/listings tool. This has led many to call the app useless or redundant, with several reporting UI and loading issues after updates. Recent reviews

Awful App. I don't know anything about boxes or recording as other users remark on. I only use the App to see what's on TV. But just scrolling up and down channels drives me nuts as it will just as easily scroll left or right, sending all timings haywire in the process. I would relish to be able to stop side-swiping in general but, as far as I know, this is not possible. The second star is for the simple fact that the channel information is there.

I have now deleted the app, when you open the app, it opens to 12am the following day, and when you scroll it's so sensitive it scrolls back to the previous day or hours, so it no point in using it
