*UPDATE 17/11/24* Hallelujah they fixed it! After nearly a year of this service just flat out not working, the 2.1.5 update has addressed the bug of the tablet counter not counting down. Following the update, the app has properly connected to the Home Connect service, and is correctly updating the tablet count when the dishwasher is used. It's still not perfect. A 'switch dishwasher' button is also now present in the settings, which I'd hope would also be useful for reconnecting if ever needed.

Update: Still irretrievably broken. On opening, I'm prompted to subscribe. There is no option to continue so the app cannot be used at all. Update: Still a mess. Some very basic testing should have caught all these problems... Edit: Had to change font size to get app to work even with newer version. Only one subscription available, more expensive per tablet than the old subscription and supermarkets, so not sure what the point is, unless it is to get people off older, good value subscriptions.
