What can it do so far?
1. Intelligent Lab Report Scanning (AI OCR)
• Specialized Parsing: The app includes custom-built parsers for major laboratories like Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center and BRB Hospitals Limited.
• Generic Fallback: If a report is from an unsupported lab, the app uses a smart generic parser to attempt to find dates and metrics.
• Haematology Experts: Highly optimized for CBC (Complete Blood Count) reports, extracting parameters like Haemoglobin, WBC, Platelets, and ESR.
• Spatial Analysis & Tilt Correction: The app uses landmark detection (like "Investigation" or "Reference Value") to automatically correct the "tilt" of a photo and align data into clean rows.
2. Multi-Profile Management
• Family Tracking: Create multiple profiles (e.g., for yourself, parents, or children) within the same app.
• Customization: Set names, dates of birth, and select avatars directly from your gallery.
• Quick Switching: Effortlessly jump between profiles from the Home screen or Profile settings.
3. Data Verification & History
• Human-in-the-Loop: After scanning, the app presents a "Verify Results" screen where you can manually correct any OCR errors before saving to your journal.
• Permanent History: View a chronological list of all scanned reports, grouped by month, with quick status indicators (Normal/High/Low).
4. Visual Health Trends
• Dynamic Graphing: Select any health marker (like Hemoglobin) to see a visual trend line of your results over time.
• Status Analysis: The app automatically compares your results against the lab's reference ranges to tell you if a value is Normal, High, or Low.
5. Advanced Backup & Restore
• Universal Portability: Export your entire database into a single, encrypted-ready JSON file.
• Cloud Support: Save backups to Google Drive or local storage using the Android Storage Access Framework.
• Smart Merge: When restoring, the app intelligently merges data, resolving name conflicts (e.g., "John Doe (2)") so you never lose existing records.
How to use the app?
1. Select a Profile: Start by picking who the report belongs to.
2. Scan a Report: Tap the "Scan New Result" button. You can take a fresh photo or pick one from your gallery.
3. Wait for AI Analysis: The app will identify the lab and extract the metrics.
4.Verify & Save: Review the values on the "Verify Results" screen. Make sure the "Collected On" date is correct and hit "Save to Journal."
5. Monitor Trends: Head over to the "Trends" tab to see how your vitals are changing over time.
