Features & Capabilities

This app will help you test whether the IP67/IP68 water resistance seals on your phone are still intact by using the barometer built in to your phone. Do note that the seals can become compromised with drops and device aging - keep your phone away from all liquids!

Note: If your phone does not have a built-in barometer, it cannot be supported. Having a barometer built-in to the phone is required for the core functionality of this app, and no app can install physically missing hardware.

Life saver! While I was taking delivery of my S23 Ultra from Samsung Service center after a repair it suddenly came to my mind to check through this app whether the phone had the water resistant tape properly sealed. To my surprise, the seal was not intact. I raised the issue and the service center guy rechecked by connecting it with their system and apologized for the negligence. Then it was properly sealed and returned to me. So reliable App. 5️⃣⭐️

This works flawlessly on my S22, but on my A14 it won't register pressing on the screen, even if I push to the point of flexing the screen and frame a bit (it's all plastic though so it's fine). I'm like 95% sure the A14 IS waterproof, but it's a cheap phone and it's been a while since it's gotten thoroughly dunked, so it is possible the app correct, although I find it more likely the A14 has a shoddy sensor. Just a warning to people with cheaper phones. Kudos to the developer though, great app.
