After installing 2-3 other apps and doing the necessary adjustments in the settings, the escalate option still didn't work and the app was useless.

It's a nice plan of action but it does not work. At least not on my ATT Samsung Galaxy S23. Who knows, it may work for others I guess. It seems as though whatever program that was made to be a work around the carrier's death grip on my phone has already been combatted. Looking forward to another attempt!
