Designed for Android TV and TV Box

Ray Player is optimized for the big-screen experience. Easy remote navigation, D-pad focus management and a TV-friendly interface make it comfortable to use on Android TV and TV Box devices.

Performance-focused options are also available for lower-powered devices, helping reduce resource usage and provide a smoother experience.

Advanced Playback

Ray Player can use different playback engines depending on device and content compatibility. Media3/ExoPlayer and MediaKit/libmpv based playback options provide compatibility with a wide range of streaming and media formats.

Depending on the device and source, supported audio and subtitle formats may include AC3, E-AC3, DTS, SRT and VTT.

Movies and Series

Enjoy your VOD library with a movie and series focused interface, season and episode navigation, cast and director information, and available trailers and metadata.

The Continue Watching feature helps you resume movies and episodes from where you stopped. With Next Up, you can quickly move to the next available movie or episode.

EPG and Live TV

Use the Electronic Program Guide to view program information for supported channels. Depending on the available EPG data, you can view current, upcoming and previous program information.

Mobile and Tablet Support

Ray Player is not limited to TV devices. Use it on phones and tablets with responsive portrait and landscape layouts designed for different screen sizes.

Profiles and Controls

Create multiple profiles to separate viewing preferences and playback experiences. Parental controls and PIN protection can help restrict access to selected content.

Use Your Own Content

Ray Player is a media player, not a content provider. The app does not include channels, movies, series, sports streams or IPTV subscriptions.

Only add playlists, streams and media sources that you have the legal right to access and use.

Manage your own IPTV and media sources with Ray Player — a modern player for Android TV, TV Box, phones and tablets.
