Minimalist widget with quotes

A widget that displays quotes on the desktop of your smart device such as Android Smartphone, Tablet, TV. It uses an existing community collection of quotes, numbering in the thousands, distributed under an open source license, so it is possible to use them anywhere. The app runs on all current and latest versions of Android OS 14. Quotes are in English, Czech, and other languages. Language is possible to switch in app.

After installing the application, you add a new widget to your desktop and wait for quotes to be extracted from the database. Subsequently, after a few moments, depending on the performance of your device, the quotes will begin to appear on the widget. You can switch them with the left and right arrows directly on the widget. You can share the quote via the share icon on the top right.

The widget also has its own settings in the form of its own application, where you can customize the widget graphically and functionally. A widget can be practically transparent and only the text can be seen, or it can be semi-transparent and just indicate its own border on your desktop.

The application also has a service that will switch quotes for you. However, this service is very dependent on the settings of your Android OS environment and you need to turn off all optimizations for that application, otherwise the quote switching service will pause after some time to save battery and the quotes will stop changing automatically.

Ads are displayed only very rarely and if you leave the settings from the application. In normal mode, when you only use the widget, one ad will appear after displaying 25 quotes.
