Rama Chess is a complete chess app for Android that suits beginners, club players and masters alike. Play online against real players in rated or casual bullet, blitz and rapid games, or play offline against the computer without an internet connection. The app includes 159 bots inspired by historical figures and chess legends such as Napoleon, Mozart and Tal, each with its own style and strength.

The analysis tools explain the engine's thinking in plain words, and you can analyse with several engines at once, explore variations and let an engine take over either side. Stockfish 19 is built in alongside 20 top engines you can download selectively. Training features include 5.3 million puzzles with Puzzle Rush, a trainer covering over 1000 opening lines and gambits, and move-by-move replays of games by Carlsen, Fischer and Kasparov. The app also offers chess variants such as Chess 960 and Crazyhouse, four-player chess, 44 languages, and optional Pro and Max plans that remove ads and unlock more bots and analysis.
