Marwa Rakha - Montessori Egypt - presents to you the first interactive application of a book that deals with the basics of sexual education in the Arabic language for ages between 6 and 12 years. The way the content is presented and the interactive elements selected within it are based on my study and application of the Montessori philosophy for many years. "Bee and Bird Talk" tells the story of a girl who loves flowers and a boy who watches birds, but they have deep questions.

Through the example of a conscious mother and a father who understands the importance of sound information, the children gradually understand the meaning of fertilization, sexual and asexual reproduction, fertilization, and mating.

The way the book unfolds, the sequence and selection of information, and the choice of interactive elements, are aligned with my years of studying and applying the “Montessori Philosophy”.

“The Bees and The Birds Talk” starts with a pre-teen who loves studying plants and flowers in the garden, and her brother who enjoys birdwatching and learning about their behavior. They both have “deep” questions.

Their progressive and involved parents realize the importance of accurate graduated scientific information. Conversations initiated by their observations and inquiries, they understand concepts such as pollination, insemination, fertilization, mating, sexual reproduction, and asexual reproduction.

As for the readers of this book, they will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding by playing interactive games like crosswords, wordsearch, and puzzles. They can watch embedded videos and photo galleries, listen to the story narrated by the author, and apply their knowledge by answering “True or False”, “Multiple Choice”, and “Drag and Drop” questions.
