Rádio 88 FM

The station is located in the Limoeiro neighborhood, in a two-story building built in an area of ​​465m². The structure has two recording studios, the main studio, where live broadcasts take place, the listener service sector, reception and administrative and Journalism and Production departments.

Radio 88 FM operates today with 5,000 Watts of power, on the frequency 88.7 MHz, prefix ZYD-501. The broadcaster has digital audio processors, which guarantees more sound quality. The radio signal covers 20 cities in the south of the state and some areas of the Baixada Fluminense. Among the main municipalities are Volta Redonda, Barra Mansa, Barra do Piraí, Resende, Itatiaia, Porto Real, Vassouras, Piraí and Rio Claro.


With a differentiated program, Rádio 88 FM is the audience leader in Volta Redonda and Barra Mansa, the main cities in the region, having 30.6% of the public's preference, more than double the percentage of the second placed according to research by Instituto GPP, September 2014. The success of Rádio's audience is also confirmed in the many events promoted during its 23 years of existence and in its permanent inclusion in the media planning of major national and regional companies.


Rádio 88 FM collects life-changing stories. Through its programming, many people were converted and returned to their families, marriages were restored, addicts abandoned drugs, parents reconciled with children, brothers with brothers, etc. The station is a kind of extension of the church, including supporting missionaries and promoting events from different denominations.
