Review summary

TaskTree by RadCollab is praised for its customizable and well-organized interface, appealing design, and helpfulness for managing ADHD. Users appreciate features like widgets and pomodoro timers. However, many report frequent bugs such as freezing and unresponsiveness, unreliable notifications, and limited icon choices. The app's recurring task settings are seen as inflexible, and the bug reporting feature often doesn't work. While the concept is strong and the developers active, these issues impact usability and user satisfaction.
Pros
  • Highly customizable and well organized for managing tasks and schedules.
  • User interface and design are visually appealing and pleasant to use.
  • Effective for users with ADHD, helping with task management and organization.
  • Includes features like widgets, tracker, and pomodoro timer which users appreciate.
  • Developers are responsive and actively working on adding new features.
Cons
  • The app contains multiple glitches and bugs, including freezing, grey screens, and unresponsive functions.
  • Notification system is unreliable; users experience inaccurate or missing reminders.
  • Limited icon selection, lacking common icons important for daily tasks.
  • Recurring task options are restrictive; users want more customizable frequency settings.
  • Bug report and feedback functions are non-functional or ineffective, frustrating users.

I'm loving the app so far, I'm a very unorganized person so this has been helping me quite a bit, but I have come across a lot of glitches and bugs which are a little annoying. I can't add icons to tabs, I also can't add custom hex codes to change the color of list and the report button doesn't work. I'd also love to be able to use a specific amount days in the frequency tab instead of Day/week/Month... Also the widget doesn't work well, atleast with me.

I thought it would be very helpful then while setting some things up it randomly gave me a grey screen that never went away. I restarted the app, I reset my phone, I uninstalled and reinstalled, and I still can't get it to work again. It happened right after I paid for it naturally 🤦🏽‍♀️ I still give it 2 stars because for some reason the stuff I had actually gotten to set up still notifies me but the app itself won't let me do anything anymore it's just a grey screen.
