I found Quotev when the fanfiction's of One Direction adopting a little girl were popular, and I was there for several of the rise and falls. This app and the website were better with the communication options.

This site is one of the best and by doing this you have only ruined it, I have made many friends on this site and it was the best experience of my life and surely not only for me but for many people... Please return the previous features as soon as possible in a new update

2024-12-06	Er*****	This app was wonderful, it saved me from $u!c!de MANY times! It's helped my mental health greatfully, I had friends, people where nice, there we're groups, chats, dms all the nice stuff. But this stupid update! I hate it. Ive been on here for half a decade- may not have been a lot but it's helped me cope with stuff. This app is useless now. I can't even see my friends now and I only have like 1 friend which luckly before this dum "downgrade" I got there discord THIS UPDATE SUCKS!!

Literally saved my life in multiple ways, hard to explain how- Some of my first best friends were made on Q, and I have moved across country to live close to one of them. I used it for years, fell out of using it for a while then came back and saw that they took away messaging- All of it. You can't personally message anyone, no groups, no chats, no activity bar, no indication of who was online or how many people were (if any by that point), it's all gone...

2024-11-14	ゆう*****	Edited: I will stand for my 5 stars since you do deserve the credit of the app launching but at the same time, please don't get your hopes up. Why the need to remove communication? It's one thing what the users needed and you take away that feature that are crucial for social interaction when social media was not a thing. I have a wonderful acquaintance of mine there talking about starseed related and you took the message away. Come on, I might as well go back to the website instead.

2024-10-14	As*****	I was a loyal user for years, when I first signed up it was called Quizzaz, I believe. I met my best friend on here. I used this from 13-27 The update to remove all communication and groups was the absolute WORST decision ever for this app and the site. Over a decade of memories are gone. I was not able to get a copy of anything before it was all wiped, unlike what they claimed would be possible. If your app/site isn't doing well, removing features will just upset people, and it clearly has.
I was a loyal user for years, when I first signed up it was called Quizzaz, I believe. I met my best friend on here. 2024-10-13	Yz*****	Honestly, it's been an amazing app for years, but with the recent updates, it's gone downhill. I've stopped using it almost completely. The community misses the things they removed, and we feel as though it wasn't a good decision. Please reconsider adding these features back in the future, as most of your users are leaving due to the removal of these features. Also can't even make an account on this device, even though it's never been banned or anything on here. If it changes I'll rate it again.
Honestly, it's been an amazing app for years, but with the recent updates, it's gone downhill. I've stopped using it almost completely. 2024-09-14	Ja*****	My experience in this app is really great, however my only problem is the voice reading. After turning it on, I decided that voice reading is not my forte so I turn it off. However, whenever I open or refresh a chapter/story it always turns on even tho I turned it off( selected "none" for the voice/language) already. It's getting really annoying because I have to select "none" every single chapter. I just hope that you guys can fix it because quotev has been my favorite reading website:((

It's genuinely a shame that you'd chose to ruin the app in such way,, removing every form of communication doesn't help anyone, certainly not authors on Quotev as many used the messages in order to get suggestions and ideas for different books and quizzes. But this entire update has royally screwed it over. Taking away the social aspect affects more than just not being able to use it for outside communication. It also affects the writers since there is pretty much no way for editors and writers to communicate. It's complete bs.
Okay, I've been a loyal Quotev user for years. It's where I've met some of the best people ever, including my very best friend, Tobey. But this entire update has royally screwed it over.
