SPECTR: Anomaly Detector

SPECTR is an entertainment simulation that recreates paranormal detection equipment.

■ Real instrument recreation
· EMF meter — the reading rises as an anomaly approaches
· Ghost Box — sweeps the FM band and monitors responses
· EVP recorder — records and restores responses inaudible to the ear
· Ovilus — converts residual signal into lexical output
· SLS camera — visualizes an anomaly's skeleton over the camera feed

■ GPS-based field survey
Anomalies manifest at real coordinates. Follow the residual energy
density on the map and approach in the direction of a rising EMF
reading. Manifestation activity increases at night (02:00–04:00) and
in poor weather.

■ Pulse emission
When there is no signal nearby, a broadband stimulus pulse can induce
a manifestation — though the class of whatever responds is not
guaranteed.

■ Case files
Capturing the moment of observation records the class, joint count and
peak EMF into a case file automatically. Export it as an evidence image
and share it.
