PocketScale is a simple personal weight journal for people who prefer a focused, offline way to record measurements. Add a weight entry, attach a short note if it helps explain the day, and view how your entries change over time. The app is designed around an easy daily journal rather than complex health coaching, making it useful for keeping a private record of your own progress.

Use the Add Weight screen to enter a measurement, choose its date, and save an optional note of up to 140 characters. You can select kilograms or pounds, and PocketScale remembers the unit you prefer. The app validates entries before saving them, so zero, negative, empty, and invalid values are not recorded. A simple preview helps confirm the measurement before it is added to the journal.

The Journal screen presents recent entries as a chronological feed. Every item shows the recorded weight, date, optional note, and change from the previous measurement when that comparison is available. This makes it easy to see whether an entry is higher, lower, or unchanged without doing the subtraction yourself. Individual entries can be deleted with confirmation whenever a record is no longer wanted.

PocketScale includes a dedicated Progress screen for viewing local trends. Select a seven-day, thirty-day, ninety-day, or all-time range to see a weight line chart based on saved measurements. The screen also summarizes the starting weight, latest weight, total change, and selected-period trend. When there is not enough data for a meaningful graph, the app clearly suggests adding another measurement instead of displaying a misleading chart.

Set a target weight to give your journal a point of reference. The Goal view displays the current weight, target weight, remaining difference, and progress percentage. You may add an optional target date and edit or remove the goal later. PocketScale uses these values to describe recorded progress only. It does not guarantee results or provide medical, nutritional, or fitness treatment advice.

The Stats screen provides a concise summary of your local entries, including current weight, starting weight, lowest weight, highest weight, average weight, total change, and entry count. A weekly or monthly summary offers another way to review the journal. All statistics are calculated from the measurements you save and update after an entry is added, edited, or deleted.

PocketScale works offline and does not require an account, sign-in, cloud sync, or external service. Weight records, notes, goals, unit preference, theme preference, and optional haptic feedback setting are stored locally on the device. You can select light theme, dark theme, or system theme. Settings also provides an option to clear the journal data when you no longer want it on the device.

The app is intended for portrait use and keeps its controls direct and readable. Weight values are displayed with one decimal place, dates are shown in a clear format, and saved information is immediately reflected in the journal, chart, goal, and statistics. PocketScale is a general personal tracking tool, not a diagnostic or medical application.

Record a measurement, notice a pattern, and keep the details that matter to you. PocketScale gives you a lightweight place to track weight over time without making your routine more complicated.

PocketScale does not ask you to follow a fixed schedule. Add entries when they fit your routine, use notes to provide personal context, and let the journal show only the information you choose to record. The app keeps the focus on a clear personal timeline rather than comparisons with other people or preset programs.
