qlikpay

qlikpay is a multi-functional application that will help users to access health services anywhere in Nigeria from registered qlikpay health providers. qlikpay will not provide health services but will connect users of health services to their health services providers with just an account on the qlikpay app. While providing this service qlikpay will also allow users to pay for utilities such as electricity, airtime, mobile-data, education to name a few.

qlikpay will use two major third party services for its operations namely Paystack – Payment Gateway and VT-pass – Utility Payments Aggregator

Paystack (by Stripe Inc.) – A PCI-DSS compliant payment processor used to securely collect and process user payments within the app. Paystack is a leading payment processing platform in Nigeria and several other African countries. It allows merchants and developers to accept payments via card, bank transfer.

The their services are accessed via their publicly available and developer-approved APIs. qlikpay has an active developer account with this provider and use API keys issued to qlikpay.

Purpose in App:
- Process customer payments for services or products.
- Securely tokenize and charge cards.
- Verify payment status and perform transaction reconciliations.
Security & Compliance:
- Tokenization of card data
- TLS encryption
- Enforce HTTPS for all API interactions

VT-pass – Utility Payments Aggregator
VT-pass (by Baxi/Capricorn Digital) – A licensed utility service aggregator in Nigeria that facilitates the purchase of airtime, data, electricity bills, and cable TV subscriptions through their public APIs. For more information on VT-Pass please visit their website at https://www.vtpass.com

Purpose in App:
- Allow users to purchase airtime, pay bills, and subscribe to services within the app.
- Acts as a bridge between the application and different service providers
Security & Compliance:
- Secure API token
- TLS encrypted communication
- No payment data storage

Qlikpay will collect a token service charge from users and the registered health care providers when a health care services is successfully delivered to the users. Qlikpay will also get commissions from third-party utility service providers anytime a user makes purchase of the third-party service from qlikpay platform
