VORTA is a one-tap arcade reflex game about threading impossible gaps. You orbit a glowing core while rings close in from the dark, each carrying one narrow opening you have to find. Tap anywhere to reverse direction. That is the whole control scheme - nothing else to learn, and everything left to master.

An endless survival score chase you can play with one thumb, offline, in the
time it takes a kettle to boil. Most runs last under a minute. Your best one
will haunt you for longer.

THREAD THE GAP OR DIE
Every ring spins at its own speed and carries one to three gaps. Read the
rotation, commit to a direction, and slip through the opening a fraction of a
second before it passes you. Get it wrong and the run is over instantly - no
health bar, no second chances, just the score you earned and the pull to go
again.

GREED IS THE REAL DIFFICULTY
Motes drift in the space between rings, and collecting them builds a combo
multiplier that decays in three and a half seconds. Playing it safe bleeds your
score away. Chasing every mote gets you killed. The whole game lives in that
tension, and your high score is a record of how well you managed it.

BUILT TO BE PICKED UP
No tutorial to sit through. No timers to wait out. No progression grind between you and the next attempt. One tap starts a run, and the retry button is exactly where your thumb already is. A few coaching hints teach the game while you are playing it, and you can skip them.

DESIGNED IN THE DARK
Neon vector visuals on deep space backgrounds, running at a locked frame rate so the read is always clean and the death is always your fault. Unlock alternate skins that recolour the entire playfield. Every ring, mote and particle is drawn procedurally - no downloads after install, and it stays sharp on any screen.

PLAYS ANYWHERE
Fully playable offline, with no wifi and no signal - on a plane, underground, or
anywhere else. No account, no sign-up, no login screen between you and the game. Your high score lives on your device.

FAIR BY CONSTRUCTION
Every ring that spawns is checked to be genuinely reachable from where you will actually be when it arrives. If you die, you were beaten by the game and not by a spawn you could never have made - a promise enforced by automated tests on every single build.
