LetterGrid is a multiplayer, turn-based word battle that combines vocabulary, word search, and territory-control strategy. Claim tiles by creating words, expand your territory, steal your opponent’s tiles, and plan each move like a game of chess.

Choose between Invasion, where you build a word chain across the board, and Territory, where you race to occupy a target number of tiles. Play against real opponents or AI, compete in timed matches, track your Elo rating and statistics, and climb leaderboards. LetterGrid also includes interactive tutorials, automatic word validation, definitions, progress graphs, built-in opponent chat, and support for 11 languages. It's a good copy of Wordbase, but after 20 games out of the blue you hit a paywall that forces you to either sell your data or pay for a subscription. I might've considered agreeing a one-off payment or even the subscription, but adding to this behavior the developers smarmy response I'm not coming back. Cant trust a developer like this.
