Chick Diary

Every hatch, weigh-in and daily observation adds to your bird's story. Keep those details together with Chick Diary.

Made for pet bird keepers, families and small aviaries, Chick Diary brings individual profiles, breeding records and daily care records into one place. Find the details you need and look back on each bird's growth.

One profile, from egg to bird
Record laying, incubation and hatching dates, and check incubation status and elapsed days. When an egg hatches, its profile continues as a bird, keeping parent links and past entries together. Add a photo, species, color and leg band number, then search by name, ID or band number.

Trace pairings and family connections
Link mates, parents and offspring. Explore a bird's family tree and open related profiles to follow its history across generations.

Keep up with daily care
Group birds by room and log cleaning, fresh water, food changes and baths. See which tasks you have recorded today. Add feeding notes and observations, and choose an entry to display on each profile card for a quick reference.

See weight changes over time
Save dated weigh-ins with notes and check the latest weight at a glance. With two or more entries, view a line chart to follow changes as your bird grows.

Set hand-feeding reminder notifications
Set daily reminder times for birds that need hand-feeding. Enable reminders and allow system notifications to schedule messages that remind you when it is time to care for them. Check the in-app information for reminder details.

Bird-keeping expenses and records
Record bird-keeping expenses with categories and notes. Review summaries over time to keep track of everyday bird care.

Make your records your own
Maintain species and color entries, mark favorites and choose unlocked card styles for individual profiles. Switch between light, dark and system appearance.

Back up and move your records
Records are stored on your device. Export a backup file for safekeeping and import it when moving to another device. Preview additions and updates before merging, while keeping records unique to the device you are importing into. Save backups regularly.

Start with one profile and build a diary of life with your birds.
