Neon Drift

Most space shooters reward you for playing it safe. Neon Drift punishes you for it.

Your ship fires on its own. Your only real job is deciding how close you dare to fly - because in Neon Drift, danger is what powers you.

THE DRIFT METER

Fly close to enemies, mines and bosses and your Drift meter climbs, multiplying your damage and your score up to 3x. Retreat to safety and it drains away. Take a single hit and you lose all of it at once.

That one rule turns every second into a decision. Hold back and stay weak, or dive into the swarm and hit three times harder. Skim past an enemy without touching it and you bank a DRIFT bonus - chain them together for more.

SIX BOSSES, SIX DIFFERENT QUESTIONS

No boss here is just the last one with more health. Each attacks the Drift meter from a new angle:

SENTINEL - learn the rhythm of a boss fight
DREADNOUGHT - the enemies start shooting back
WARDEN - indestructible mines drift through the field, and the boss hides inside a rotating shield ring. Find the gap.
HIVE - armor no bullet can break unless your Drift is maxed out. Its own swarm is the fuel you need to get there.
PHANTOM - your Drift now drains three times faster, and the boss will not stop teleporting
OVERSEER - the final fight. Three phases, cycling every trick the campaign taught you.

Clear all six and the game keeps going in Endless Mode at full difficulty.

YOUR TOOLKIT

Drag to move - auto-fire handles the shooting. One thumb, no buttons to fumble for.
Bombs - three charges that clear the screen and tear half the health off a boss, at the cost of your entire Drift meter. Survive the Warden and you earn a fourth.
Overdrive - locks your multiplier at maximum for a few glorious seconds.
Shield - absorbs one hit, and protects the Drift you worked for.
Ranks - climb from Rookie to Legend, tracked by your best run.
