폐인 키우기 is an immersive real-time simulation game where players raise a shut-in character who rarely leaves their room. Players influence the character's behavior by interacting with objects like the computer, bed, and door, balancing their desires such as gaming, sleeping, and internet browsing.

As the main character lives off their parents without expenses, players can collect money through internet broadcasting, challenge their character to get a job or enter competitions to pursue artistic goals. The game ends if the character's needs are depleted, challenging players to manage their shut-in's lifestyle creatively. All characters are fictional, designed by Project Team WiD Lab.
