User Reviews

Churchill Solitaire offers a uniquely challenging and addictive solitaire experience with strategic depth that many users appreciate. However, the app suffers from a lack of updates since 2017, leading to persistent issues such as poor screen scaling on diverse devices, unaddressed bugs, and unreliable customer support. Users are divided over the mandatory paid features like hints and undo moves, which some find too expensive without a free trial. Despite these drawbacks, those who enjoy a serious solitaire challenge find the game rewarding and engaging.

Pros

Highly challenging and strategic gameplay that appeals to solitaire enthusiasts.
Addictive and engaging, often leading to long-term play and repeated sessions.
Well-designed format that is more involved than regular solitaire.
Supports different levels or difficulty settings catering to varying player time and skill.
No glitches or crashes reported on some devices, indicating a stable experience for certain users.

Cons

Lack of updates since 2017 leads to unresolved issues and no improvements.
Poor adaptation to various screen sizes and aspect ratios, causing visibility and scaling problems.
Mandatory payments for hints and undo features frustrate some users; some consider pricing too high without free trials.
Customer service is unresponsive or non-existent, especially regarding in-app purchases and technical issues.
Game crashes or bugs cause lost progress or require reinstallation; some users experience difficulty with screen rotation and card visibility.

I am so frustrated! I love this game and am addicted, I have played for many years. But I paid for the daily games and haven't been able to play since January and they collected another year's fee in April! I have sent a bug report so many times I've lost count and have received no response or help for any of them. Time to cancel and save some money...

Thank you for restoring my won campaigns. However, why do you keep screwing with this game? Before played cards were tight & at the same level across all rows. Now they are spaced out & at different levels, making it very hard to see & play cards across columns. Worse there is some weird flicker of the cards every time I touch the screen that is super distracting. Please put the spacing of played cards back the way they've always been. Or give people the option to play them tight or spaced out.
