EMSYS Logistics

EMSYS Logistics is the mobile app for managing delivery notes (DL) in a warehouse. Designed for Android industrial terminals with integrated 2D scanner (Unitech EA660), it lets the operator take, scan and approve deliveries directly against the EMSYS ERP — paperless.

▸ SIMPLE 4-STEP FLOW

• Take a DL from the list — the operator becomes owner of the document, locked from other users.
• Scan barcodes — quantity grows in real time with visual feedback (green = complete, yellow = partial, red = excess) and audio (distinct beep on unknown code).
• Send quantities to ERP — optional POST before approval, useful when bookkeeping stock differs from reality and another ERP user must adjust.
• Approve DL — finalize when scanned qty = document qty; the document transitions to approved state.

▸ KEY FEATURES

• Unitech EA660 hardware scanner — physical trigger active throughout the detail screen, no UI button required.
• Camera fallback — phones/tablets without integrated scanner use the device camera.
• Multiple barcodes per article — each with multiplication factor (1 piece, box of 10, pallet of 100, etc.).
• Per-position scan history — see exactly "100 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 100 = 600" and undo only the last wrong scan (or reset all).
• Local SQLite persistence — scans survive app kill / device restart. No work lost.
• Automatic polling — after sending quantities, the app checks every 10 minutes whether the DL was approved in ERP by another user and alerts you.
• Pull-to-refresh — manual DL status check on ERP, with corrected quantities updated if adjusted from ERP.
• Configurable QR profiles — flexible mapping of JSON keys from a QR code to barcode, lot, serial. One profile per client.
• Multilingual — Romanian (default) and English, switch on the fly.

▸ WORK MODES

• 100% online — all operations sync in real time with EMSYS ERP.
• Short offline resilience — on temporary WiFi loss, scans stay in local SQLite and sync automatically when the connection returns.

▸ ERP INTEGRATION

The app communicates with the EMSYS Logistics module over secure REST API (HTTPS). Authentication uses the operator's ERP account. The password is stored securely in Android Keystore.

• Warehouse operators — daily article scanning at truck loading / goods out.
• Shift supervisors — view approved DLs, undo approval if a mistake was made.
• Logistics team — adjust quantities in ERP when bookkeeping stock differs from actual.
