The core of the experience is simple yet demanding. From the top of the screen, horizontal color waves descend in a steady flow. At the bottom, an energy triangle waits. Each of its three corners holds a distinct color. Your task is to rotate the triangle so that the corner matching the color of the falling wave faces upward at the moment of contact.

Interaction is direct and intentional. A single tap on the triangle rotates it, changing which colored corner is active. Correct alignment results in a successful match and increases your score. Incorrect alignment costs one life. You begin each session with three lives, and once all are lost, the session ends.

Prism Orbit treats progress with precision. Only completed sessions — whether ending in victory or defeat — are recorded. If the game is interrupted, closed, minimized, or exited to the menu before completion, no results are saved. This design choice emphasizes commitment and focus during each run.

When the app is sent to the background, the game automatically pauses and displays a pause window. Upon returning, you must close the pause screen to continue, ensuring no progress is lost unintentionally.
