Text Scanner — OCR

Text Scanner turns a photo of printed text into editable text in seconds, completely offline. Snap a document, receipt, label, sign or book page, then edit, copy or share the words. Nothing is uploaded: the recognition engine runs on your phone.

FREE, WITH OPTIONAL PRIMUS PLUS
Every scanning feature is free. The free version shows ads. Primus Plus is an optional subscription (monthly or yearly) that removes ads and unlocks the exclusive colour and picture themes. Cancel any time in Google Play. A one-time 7-day Plus trial is offered on first launch after watching a short rewarded video. If you just want to say thanks, a one-off tip is available in Settings.

PRIVACY
No sign-up. Your images and recognised text stay on your device and are never sent to our servers. The camera is used only while you take a photo. Ads (Google AdMob) follow your consent choice, which you can change in the app at any time.

ACCURACY
OCR works best on clear, well-lit printed text. Handwriting, unusual fonts, curved pages or blurry photos may be read incorrectly or incompletely, so please check important results before relying on them.
