CleanMate is a local-first Android device assistant that brings storage
cleaning, file management, app insights, battery information, performance
guidance, permission controls, and offline file-safety review together in one
place. CleanMate helps you understand and care for your device without
automatic file deletion—you review and choose what to remove.

STORAGE CLEANER AND JUNK REVIEW
• Scan the storage locations Android allows CleanMate to access.
• Review temporary or incomplete downloads, old installation files, duplicate
images, and large or old files.
• See file names, locations, sizes, and cleanup reasons before taking action.
• Select individual items and confirm before deletion.

FILE MANAGER AND STORAGE BREAKDOWN
• Browse images, videos, audio, documents, downloads, archives, installation
files, large files, recent files, and other accessible files.
• Search, sort, preview, open, select, and manage files from one place.
• View a proportional storage breakdown to understand which categories use the most space.
• Use limited media access or enable All Files Access for complete shared-storage analysis and file maintenance.

APP AND DEVICE INSIGHTS
• Review visible installed apps and open Android app-management controls.
• With optional Usage Access, view last-used time, foreground activity,
inactivity signals, and available app-size information.
• Check battery level, charging state, temperature, Android-reported battery
health, storage usage, and active RAM status.
• Get practical performance and battery guidance without fake speed-boost or
battery-health claims.

OFFLINE SUSPICIOUS-FILE REVIEW
• Review accessible APKs, archives, executable files, and scripts for warning
indicators.
• Detect signals such as disguised extensions, unreadable installers, missing
APK signing identity, unusual permission combinations, or potentially unsafe
executable file types.
• Choose whether to keep or permanently delete a flagged file.

CleanMate's Anti-Virus feature is an offline heuristic review, not a confirmed
malware verdict. False positives and false negatives are possible. Keep Google
Play Protect enabled for updated reputation, signature, and behavioral
protection.

LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY
• Core file scanning and analysis happen on your device.
• No CleanMate account is required.
• Scanned filenames, file contents, app insights, and cleaning history are not uploaded to PriEm Cloud.
• Permissions can be reviewed or revoked from CleanMate's Permission Center or Android Settings.

IMPORTANT
Some file deletions may be permanent and cannot be restored by CleanMate.
Always review selected files before confirming cleanup.
