constantly crashing, unusable.

I was loving this app until it started to glitch when I tried to enter my food for the day. it gave me the circling worm and no food list would come up. I wound up uninstalling it which made me lose all of my months of tracking my progress. very disheartening to lose all that hard work and all the food items I created in my custom list. now I have to start over. please someone tell me what do to if this glitch happens again. is there any way to force the list of food to come up? I had WIFI too!
