Prayer Walking The Nations helps you turn everyday walking into intentional prayer for communities across the island of Ireland.

Start a prayer walk, track your distance and time with GPS, and save your walk history. Stay encouraged through community progress, a leaderboard, and optional reminders, so prayer on the move becomes a sustainable rhythm, not a one-off effort.

What you can do:

• Track prayer walks with GPS—including accurate distance and time, and your route where available.

• Start, pause, resume, and finish a walk so tracking matches real life (stops, conversations, and breaks).

• Save walk history and review past walks and summaries.

• See community progress on the map where walkers have chosen to share routes, and explore leaderboard stats.

• Earn points for qualifying walks to celebrate consistency and encourage longer, prayerful walks.

• Use optional reminders and notifications; you can turn these on or off in the app and fine-tune system settings on your device.

Location and Android background behaviour

Location access is required to record walks accurately. While a walk is active, the app may use background location together with a foreground service so your walk continues to be recorded when the screen is off or when you switch to other apps. Background location is used only while a walk is running—when you end the walk, background tracking stops.

Account and privacy

Sign in with a free account to sync your walks and use community features. You can control how your routes appear to the community from your profile.
