While the Power of prayer is unlimited and given, there is no guarantee against giving any thing that is evil and selfish. We live in a world that is filled with all kinds of evil. Part of the reason why we ask to be forgiven is because we are sinful. Our sinful nature makes it hard for us to live a righteous, healthy, and holy life. We also ask God's protection because evil in our world is becoming increasingly common and we want God to hold us and our families close.

We live in a world where forgiveness is nearly impossible, yet forgiveness is the only way to remove darkness and come into a light and feel safe. Praying to the Lord our God, who is the one with compassion, mercy, and forgiveness, asking him to hear our prayers and to watch over us with love, mercy and justice, wanting the him to declare that there is forgiveness for the sins committed against him and our neighbor, calling on him to open his arms so we can be embraced in peace, to remove our fears and fears of the future, and to grant us the light of hope.
