Potato Plant

Potato Plant is an underground farming idle simulator with clicker mechanics, set in a hand-painted world of brown soil and green sprouts. The player digs, waters, defends, and harvests an ever-growing patch of potatoes by tapping individual mounds across an adaptive grid.
A cross-section perspective on farming. The board is a grid of soil pits, not a flat field of icons. Every mound has its own life cycle: fallow soil, sprout, parched sprout, flourishing greens, and finally a ripened tuber that glows golden when ready to be lifted.
Three independent threats and rewards on every plot. Each mound can become thirsty and wilt if ignored, can be invaded by a striped Colorado beetle that has to be tapped off, and finally yields coins when the tuber matures. The player decides which mound to touch first.
A trio of named helpers, each with a distinct silent loop. The Brook Carrier waters parched mounds, the Burrow Sentry chases off beetles, and the Sack Hauler quietly digs up ripe tubers for half value while the player focuses elsewhere. Helpers can be hired and upgraded up to six levels.
Five named field tiers, from the cramped Mossback Hollow to the wide Deep Roots Estate. Each annexed field expands the grid and increases the coin yield per harvested tuber, turning the same tap into a bigger reward.
A pure offline experience. There are no ads, no accounts, no network calls. Progress is stored locally between sessions through a small persistent vault.
Fully adaptive layout. Phone, tablet, foldable and desktop windows are all supported through a responsive metrics layer that rescales the field grid, fonts, and dock to the available shortest side.
Hand-generated artwork. Two original underground field backgrounds and four transparent sprites (potato, shovel, bucket, beetle) form the entire visual language.
