HospOS: Restaurant POS

HospOS is a point-of-sale and floor-management app for restaurants, cafes, bars and food trucks. It runs the whole service — orders, payments, the kitchen, the till — on the tablets your staff already carry, and it keeps working when the internet doesn't.

KEEPS WORKING OFFLINE
Every order, payment and kitchen ticket is written to the device first, so service never stops for a dropped connection. Chit numbers print immediately instead of waiting on a server. When the network comes back, everything syncs in the background and reconciles across every device in the venue.

TABLE SERVICE
• Floor plan with areas, tables and covers
• Order by seat, fire by course, hold and send
• Split a bill by seat, by item or evenly — and split a single item across guests
• Transfer and merge tables mid-service
• Edit any line — quantity, modifiers, notes, discounts — from one editor
• Void with a reason and a manager PIN, recorded for reporting

• Cash, card and split payments across multiple tenders
• Windcave EFTPOS terminal integration
• Cash drawer sessions per drawer, with float, payouts, counts and variance
• Z reports and end-of-day close
• Refunds, surcharges, scheduled surcharges and cash rounding

KITCHEN
• Print to Epson and other ESC/POS printers over your network or Bluetooth
• Route items to stations by printer
• Kitchen Display mode — a live ticket rail with start, ready, bump and recall

TAKEAWAY AND ONLINE ORDERS
• Counter mode for quick service
• Online orders from your website arrive at the till with a prep-time prompt
• Accept or decline, and the customer sees the status change

GUESTS AND LOYALTY
• Points, vouchers and time-based multipliers
• Enrol a guest at the till with an emailed or texted verification code
• Guest profiles with dietary notes and preferences
• Email a receipt instead of printing one

BOOKINGS
• Take and view reservations on the same device
• Assign real tables from your floor plan

• Clock in and out on the till, with hours recorded for payroll

HARDWARE
Built for tablets, and works on phones. Supports Epson and other ESC/POS receipt and kitchen printers over network or Bluetooth, Windcave EFTPOS terminals, cash drawers opened by the printer, and QR or barcode scanning with the device camera.

LANGUAGES
English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai.

WHAT YOU NEED
HospOS is for venues with a Posoda account and an active subscription. Your manager sets the venue up on the Posoda dashboard and pairs each device with a code — there is no signup inside the app.
