Idle Gear Miner is an idle merge puzzle set in a steampunk mine. You place every gear yourself, and where you put it decides what it reaches, what it breaks and how deep you get. An earthquake buried the great machine that kept the world turning, and the mine went dead. Merge gears, cut through the rock, reconnect the generators, and get it running again.

⚙️ MERGE GEARS TO GROW YOUR POWER
Two gears of the same type and same level merge into one stronger gear. Merging is the only way your power grows. No menus, no shortcuts.

🧩 PLACE EVERY GEAR YOURSELF
Nothing is placed for you. A gear in the right spot clears a path to a buried generator. A gear in the wrong spot grinds at empty rock while the level stalls. The board is the puzzle.

⛏️ DIG THROUGH THE ROCK
Every gear linked to the Master Cog spins and chews into the stone in front of it. Break the rock, open the path, push deeper into the mine.

🔗 NOTHING TURNS UNLESS IT IS CONNECTED
Gears are dead metal until they are linked into the chain running back to the Master Cog. Clear the rock to a buried generator, connect it, and watch it come back online.

🔧 FIVE GEAR TYPES, EACH WITH ITS OWN BITE
Hammer, Drill, Laser, Catapult and Jackhammer. Straight-line drilling, beams that pierce a whole row, ranged strikes, diagonal hits. Pick the right tool for the rock in front of you.

💰 COLLECT COPPERS, KEEP THE LINE MOVING
Connected generators pay out Coppers. Spend them to force out a gear right now instead of waiting, or upgrade your production and earn faster.

😴 IT KEEPS RUNNING WHILE YOU ARE AWAY
Gears keep spinning, rock keeps breaking and Coppers keep stacking while the app is closed. Come back to progress you did not have to grind for.

🗝️ REACH THE FINAL KEY COG
Every level ends the same way. Reach the Final Key Cog, turn it, and bring that stretch of the mine back to life.
