Poma: Pomodoro Timer

Poma
A timer alone wasn't enough.

Even with a 25-minute timer running, a single notification could break your focus. Practicing on a real exam schedule meant constantly resetting timers between subjects.

Poma combines Pomodoro, study schedules, ambient sounds, and focus tools in one distraction-free study app.

Pomodoro
Set focus and break times in one-minute increments and choose up to 50 sets.

When you start, the screen becomes minimal: only the timer and essential controls remain. Tap once more for a fully immersive fullscreen mode.

A circular water-style indicator shows your remaining time at a glance without needing to read numbers.

Study Schedule
Create multiple study blocks and run them automatically in sequence.

Perfect for exam preparation with subject-specific durations such as 80-minute language sessions or 100-minute math sessions.

Each block automatically transitions to the next with customizable sound and vibration alerts. A 5-minute warning notification helps recreate the feeling of a real exam environment.

Animated backgrounds such as Rain, Birds, Snow, and Galaxy can be displayed while studying.

10 Ambient Sounds
Choose from:

• Rain
• Airplane Cabin
• Library
• Exam Room
• Ocean Waves
• Flowing Water
• Birds
• Fireplace
• Cave
• Clock Ticking

All sounds are seamlessly looped for long listening sessions and continue playing even when the screen is off.

Stay Focused
App Blocking
Block selected apps during focus sessions.

Exit App to End Session
Leaving the app immediately ends the session.

Face-Down Challenge
Place your phone face down within 10 seconds after starting to reinforce focus.

All features are optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time.

Brain Dump Notes
Write down distracting thoughts before you begin.

Poma stores them away and shows them again after your session is complete, helping you stay mentally clear while studying.

Statistics
Track more than study time.

Poma measures interruptions such as pauses and app exits to generate a Focus Score from 0–100, helping you understand how consistently you stay focused.

View your recent trends and monitor improvements over time.

Custom Sounds & Vibration
Choose separate sounds for focus completion, break completion, and 5-minute warnings.

Customize vibration patterns and preview everything before applying it.
