FEATHER INDEX
File each plume by alloy and length. Brass, copper, or steel. Short or long. The bin closes fast.

NEST TENSION
Hold the spring, then release in the gold band. Too early or too late and the nest slips.

PROGRESS
Score unlocks later cages. Buy a spare spring if a winding fails. Replay any finished trial from the result sheet.
