EasyVFR Basic NL (previously: AirspaceAvoid) has been succeeded by the new EasyVFR 4 app. The new EasyVFR 4 app provides both beginner and advanced pilots in all European countries with the easiest, clearest and most convenient moving map possible on their mobile devices. The EasyVFR 4 SmartMap has it all: dynamically activated airspaces, live traffic, VFR arrival and departure procedures, obstacles, terrain and clear geographical features. All powered by the most reliable and accurate data providers in the industry.

EasyVFR Basic NL will remain working for Android 11 and lower versions for the foreseeable future. Android 12 and up are not supported by this legacy app; please download EasyVFR 4 for a better experience.

Doesn't keep GPS connection open. I have to keep opening Google maps to get GPS connection. Any ideas?

On my android devices, Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S, it wants to try to open all kind of stuff. If you want to open a contact from your contacts list, Android asks if you want to open it with Airspace Avoid or Contacts. Same accounts for all other kinds of things you want to open, mail, pdf files, music.... If this is solved, I would consider reinstalling it. Because it makes my devices kind of unusable. Further the performance is not to good. But I really like the initiative for more safety and less chance of Airspace infringements!
