1. Concept
"Pochitto Green Life" is a cultivation management application that allows you to simply and smartly record and manage the growth and care of your beloved plants, such as houseplants, vegetable gardens, and succulents.
Even amidst the busyness of daily life, you can record care with a single tap and look back on the number of days that have passed since you brought your plants home, making life with plants more familiar and enjoyable. It features advice from adorable vegetable characters and a weather forecast function tailored to your region, and we pursued a design that anyone can use intuitively, from plant beginners to veteran gardening enthusiasts.

#### 2. Background and Target Audience
Growing plants is a source of healing and enjoyment for many people, but on the other hand, there are challenges such as "forgetting when the last time to water was," "missing the appropriate timing for fertilizing," and "wanting to centrally manage growth records with photos, but finding them difficult to find among other photos in your smartphone's photo folder."
This app was developed to solve these everyday "little troubles."
It is especially ideal for the following users:

* For those who want to visually understand the timing of plant care.
* For those who want to easily record the growth process from the day they acquired the plant or sowed the seeds.
* For those who want to enjoy daily gardening and continue it for a long time.
* For those who want to easily transfer data, including photo data, when changing devices.

#### 3. Details of Main Functions

##### ① One-Tap Care Recording and Schedule Setting
Care records and future schedule settings are integrated into a single form.
Users can complete recording simply by selecting from seven types of care—"Sowing Seeds," "Watering," "Repotting," "Fertilizing," "Pruning," "Harvesting," and "Other"—using a chip-style button.
Furthermore, it is possible to record in detail by adding the following information:
* Comments (Growth Records): You can freely enter daily changes and observations in text.
* Photo Attachment: You can visually save the state of the plant at the time of care by taking a photo with the camera or selecting from the gallery.
* Date and Time Picker: You can flexibly set the date and time of past records and future appointments using the calendar function.
* Automatic Schedule Detection: Setting up notifications for scheduled events or recurring events automatically adds them to your calendar as "Schedules," and you'll receive a notification on your smartphone at 9 AM on the set date. If there are no scheduled events, they'll be intuitively accumulated on the timeline as "Actual Events (Records)."

##### ② "Day X" Badge as a Growth Indicator
For each event recorded on the timeline, the number of days elapsed (Day X) from the set reference date (such as the day you acquired the plant or sowed the seeds) is automatically calculated and displayed as a badge.
The reference date is set as Day 0, with negative numbers displayed for days before that, and Day 1, Day 2, and so on thereafter. This allows you to see at a glance how much time has passed since cultivation began, and you can truly feel the plant's growth. The reference date can be changed at any time as part of the plant's basic information.

##### ③ Fully Integrated Backup and Restore for Complete Photo Data Retention
The app includes import and export functions to seamlessly transfer plant records and photos when changing smartphone models or reinstalling the app.

The most distinctive feature is that it encodes all image data, including the main plant photo and photos attached to care records, and completely encapsulates them within a single backup file.
It operates safely and easily through the OS's standard file sharing and file selection functions, without using any permissions that pose a high risk of privacy violation, such as accessing the entire device's storage. When migrating to a new device, it automatically generates image files in the appropriate folder on the new device and automatically rewrites the database path to match the new device's local environment.

##### ④ Detailed Weather Forecast Tailored to Your Region
By simply selecting your prefecture and a more detailed area (approximately 180 areas nationwide) in the settings screen, you can obtain weather information specific to your area.
The home screen clearly displays a scrollable 10-day weekly weather forecast (day of the week, weather icon, maximum and minimum temperatures, probability of precipitation), greatly assisting in planning watering and deciding whether to bring potted plants indoors.

##### ⑤ Cheerful Welcomes and Encouragement from Adorable Vegetable Characters
Every time you launch the app, familiar vegetable and fruit characters will greet you in speech bubbles at the top of the home screen.
Thirteen unique characters, including Tomato-chan, Broccoli-bucho, and Bok Choy-chan, will appear randomly, delivering personalized and warm welcome messages linked to the name you've set. The app aims to transform gardening from a mere chore into a heartwarming hobby through daily communication with the characters.

##### ⑥ Comfortable Layout Control with Display Area On/Off Function
If you want to use the screen more to view the plant list or care history, you can hide them by tapping the close button on the right edge of the welcome character banner or weather forecast card.
While hidden, a smart restore button will appear in the corner of the screen, allowing you to return to the original display with a single tap. Since the hidden state is temporarily managed in memory, the app will always start again with the cute characters' greetings upon restart, ensuring a harmonious balance between usability and user experience.

#### 4. App's Technical Strengths and Quality Control
This app is developed using Flutter, achieving the same comfortable user experience and high performance on both Android and iOS platforms.
Thorough code checks using static analysis tools ensure a high-quality design that completely eliminates potential errors and warnings in the code. Furthermore, dependency issues specific to Android builds in Windows development environments (such as NDK stripping errors) have been addressed, establishing a build configuration that enables stable release builds.
