The discount application enables the acceptance of multi-purpose shopping voucher cards (including social cards issued by partner municipalities in our system) in the stores and/or webshops of businesses that have already joined the Centrum Áruházak brand partner network.

The discount application is an application for digital terminals at acceptance points. To use it, a smart device with at least Android 12 operating system is required (e.g.: phone, tab, tablet), on which the application can be installed free of charge from Google Play.

After downloading, the registered user acting on behalf of the partner company can log in to the business administration account (gear icon) on the web interface (https://centrumaruhazak.hu) and access the unique store QR code belonging to the partner company's store under the "Stores" button on the devices tab. This must be scanned by opening the application and clicking the "Shop" button in the application to pair the device with the store (in case of successful pairing, the store name will appear on the device). Multiple devices can be paired with one store.

After pairing, the application operates on the paired smart device as a card acceptance terminal linked to the given store and provides the possibility of recording transactions during purchases made using a card (an online data connection, data card SIM / WiFi is required for use!).

Transactions are understood as the points that are freely determined by the company and can be redeemed in its stores within the framework of the loyalty program, purchases made using the balance of a multi-purpose shopping voucher, purchases made from the social pocket (in partner stores assigned to a given social pocket and within the administrative boundaries of a given settlement, e.g.: medicine pocket > local pharmacy), and the management of dedicated offers (including e.g. every tenth pizza is free promotions in the partner company's store).

The application also includes additional card-accessible functions (e.g.: card balance inquiry, event entry, parking management with cards based on license plate number, leisure sports program management, card registration, card sales, card extensions, etc.).

In order for the partner business to use the discount application and earn additional income by accepting shopping voucher cards, it must first join the Centrum Áruházak brand partner network as an accepting location on the https://centrumaruhazak.hu website. Detailed terms and conditions for joining can be found on the website.

Joining the Centrum Department Stores brand partner network is simple, by purchasing the Centrum Business card in the online Centrum shop. By logging in to the business administration interface with the number of the digital Centrum business card and the corresponding PIN code, you can register your business, create the store data sheet of the acceptance point, among other things. After creating this, the unique store QR code required for pairing the application / store can be accessed on the business administration interface with a few clicks (this must be scanned with the application for pairing, after clicking on the "Shop" button in it.

The discount application is primarily used to accept plastic cards that can be purchased in partner stores (and then topped up as a multi-purpose shopping voucher card under https://centrumaruhazak.hu) and shopping vouchers sold in the Centrum Shop.

The card also allows the cardholder to use immediate shopping discounts (promotions) determined by the partners by showing the card (e.g.: Széchenyi Kertvendéglő in Budapest's City Park provides a 30% discount on the total bill based on consumption upon presentation of the card.) The use of the termen is not required for the promotions available upon presentation of the card.
