No ads at all and only subtle offers to spend real cash. Downside: the storyline can't be muted and skipping still shows a fast play, so you spend some of time waiting for the story line to be over.

The game was fun at first, but after getting to certain level it requires you to make impossible combinations. You will need to spend money & even then you'll likely not get through that board without spending more money on power ups. Not so fun when you need to spend or keep playing same board. A waste of time & money.
