HEX COLOR CODES — WHAT THE FORMAT MEANS

A hex color code is six digits after a #: #RRGGBB. The first pair is red (00–FF), the second green, the third blue. Pure red is #FF0000, white is #FFFFFF, black is #000000. Over 16 million combinations exist. The picker maps the full RGB cube onto a draggable field so you navigate by color, not by guessing numbers.

COLOR PALETTE MAKER FOR DESIGN PROJECTS

Complementary colors sit opposite each other on the wheel (high contrast). Analogous sit beside each other (harmony). Triadic divide the wheel into thirds (vibrancy).
