PlanScanner - AR Floor Plans

PlanScanner helps you survey the floor plan of a room or an apartment using your phone's augmented reality (ARCore).

HOW IT WORKS
Point the camera at the room's corners and tap them on screen to record their position: PlanScanner automatically builds the perimeter and calculates its measurements. An AR ruler is also available for quickly measuring a single distance, and you can create a room by entering measurements by hand, without using the camera, if you already have a survey done with other tools.

EDITOR AND 3D VIEW
Every survey can be refined in a 2D editor: add or edit walls, doors and windows, correct measurements, and combine several rooms into a single floor plan. A 3D view lets you check the result more intuitively before exporting it.

EXPORT
Surveys can be exported as PNG and PDF for printing or quick sharing, as SVG and DXF for use with CAD software, and as OBJ to bring the model into 3D modeling tools. The app works in both metric units (meters/centimeters) and imperial units (feet/inches).

PRIVACY
PlanScanner does not require an internet connection and does not use one: the app does not declare the network permission, so it cannot send any data to external servers. All surveys stay saved only on your device. The camera is used solely for AR tracking during scanning: images are never saved or transmitted. No account or login is required.

PlanScanner is meant for anyone who needs a quick, dimensioned sketch of a space: site visits, quotes, small renovation work, or simple curiosity about the measurements of your own home.
