ClearRoll: Photo Cleanup

Make room for the photos you want to keep.

ClearRoll helps you find photo and video clutter on your Android phone, review it and choose what to remove. Start with saved screenshots and large videos, compare exact duplicates, or inspect possible similar and blurry photos.

Your photos stay on your phone. Scans run on your device, with no account, cloud photo uploads, ads or analytics server.

FIND WHAT IS TAKING UP SPACE
• Exact duplicates: compare matching file contents and choose which copy to keep.
• Large videos: find space-hungry videos and set your own minimum size in Settings.
• Screenshots: review saved screenshots together instead of searching your whole camera roll.
• Similar photos: compare possible near-matches and keep your favourites.
• Blur checks: inspect potentially blurry shots and decide which ones matter to you.

PREVIEW. CHOOSE. CONFIRM.
Open photos and videos before selecting them. Review your selected items, remove anything chosen by mistake, then continue to Android's confirmation to move them to Trash. ClearRoll never removes items automatically.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ClearRoll only scans the photos and videos you allow it to access. Scan results are stored on your device. No sign-up and no uploading your photo library to a server.

HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
A skippable introduction and interactive practice walkthrough explain scanning, selection and confirmation. Replay the guide or find answers to common questions in Settings.

BEFORE YOU START
• Android 11 or newer is required to move selected items to system Trash. Older supported devices can scan and review media.
• Similar-photo and blur analysis require Android 10 or newer. Their results are suggestions, so always check the originals yourself.
• With limited photo access, only the items you have allowed can be scanned.
• Trash recovery and retention depend on your Android device and gallery app.

Start with one category, review your choices and make space at your own pace.
