Athanor: Alchemy Merge is a hand-crafted discovery game in the tradition of classic alchemy chains, themed as a dark alchemist's working circle.

Start with Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Combine them, then combine what they produce — the chain stretches from puddles and embers all the way to gods, miracles, and the philosopher's stone. 158 hand-authored pair recipes plus 29 multi-input rituals waiting to be found.

▸ RITUAL, NOT TAPPING
Every discovery is a small ceremony. Drag two — or three, or four, or five — elements into the slots of an inscribed sigil. The crucible ignites. Channels race clockwise around the rim. The result rises in a pillar of gold, and its name burns across the board like a Ring of Power inscription.

Initiate. Apprentice. Adept. Scholar. Mystic. Sage. Archmage. Demiurge.
Each rank shifts the sigil under your circle — from the twin lenses of the Vesica Piscis to the inscribed Triquetra, the four-fold Squaring of the Circle, and finally the five-pointed Pentacle. Wider sigils unlock deeper recipes that no two-element pair can reach.

Every element you discover joins your grimoire. Filter by category, sort by recent discovery, or search by name. Tap any tile to open its Lineage — what made it, and what it makes. Open the Tree of Forging to see every discovery branching out from the four primal seeds.

▸ STUCK? BURN THE FLAME
Tap the Hint button when you're at a wall — a rewarded ad reveals the two ingredients of an undiscovered recipe whose elements you already own. The result stays a mystery. The flame keeps no count of your favors.

Your progress saves automatically as you play, and syncs to the cloud through Google Play Games — pick up your run across reinstalls and new devices without lifting a finger. Discoveries are forever; only Reset can erase them, and only after a double confirmation.
