Firearms Permit Questions and Tests. WPA Exam, Study Guide, Offline.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

The firearms permit exam takes place before a commission at the provincial police headquarters, and there's no room for guesswork. The exam consists of 20 questions and 30 minutes, with 18 correct answers required to pass. The tests in the app cover all five sections from which the exam questions are composed. The legal status is as of 2026. This is a study guide for the police exam before the WPA commission. The PZSS firearms license exam is separate and has a different set of questions.

Each question displays not only the correct answer but also the relevant regulation and a simple explanation. The goal is to understand the material, not memorize it. The questions and study guide cover firearms regulations, from the Weapons and Ammunition Act to implementing regulations and shooting range regulations.

HOW IT WORKS
- Quick test: 20 questions, the same number as the exam, but without the timer. In the free version, a randomly selected question is drawn from 21 free questions. - Big Test: 40 questions for a relaxed, longer review (full version).
- Timed Test: 20 questions in 30 minutes, just like the exam, with 18 to pass (full version).
- Section Practice: One section is repeated until successful, with a score that shows where further work is needed. Sections D and E are in the full version.
- Errors for Review: Incorrectly answered questions are returned later and repeated until they become problematic.
- Question of the Day: One question per day, drawn from the entire database, also available in the free version.
- Study Guide: Twelve chapters written for Polish regulations, covering everything from permit types, including those for sporting and collectible weapons, through documents submitted to the Administrative Procedures Division (WPA), to the theoretical and practical sections of the exam. The entire study guide is free and can be read without taking the test.

SCOPE OF THE MATERIAL
- Section A: Terms and Definitions
- Section B: Permits and Registration
- Section C: Conditions, Revocation, Storage
- Section D: Transport, Borders, Shooting Ranges
- Section E: Criminal Liability

WHERE THE QUESTIONS ARE FROM
The questions for the WPA exam come from the official set of the Prevention Bureau of the National Police Headquarters, the same set published by provincial police headquarters. The police publish only the questions, without an answer key. Each question provides a provision from which the answer derives, most often from a statute, with some questions from a regulation, shooting range regulations, or the Penal Code. Therefore, each answer can be verified directly at the source, rather than taken for granted.

OFFLINE AND AD-FREE
The entire app works offline, so you can study for the firearms exam anywhere, even without a signal. No ads, no account, no analytics. Nothing that happens in the app leaves your phone. Purchases are supported by Google Play.

FREE AND FULL VERSIONS
The free version includes 21 questions: 7 each from sections A, B, and C, a quick test from that pool, the entire textbook, a review of errors, and a randomly selected question of the day from the entire database. A one-time unlock opens the entire database of 200 questions, sections D and E, a long test, and a timed test. There's no subscription fee; you only pay once. If you find the app useful, purchasing the full version is a good way to show your appreciation.

LEGAL BASIS
The full and binding text of the regulations can be found in official sources:
- Act of May 21, 1999, on Weapons and Ammunition (ISAP): https://isap.sejm.gov.pl/isap.nsf/DocDetails.xsp?id=WDU19990530549
- Regulation of the Ministry of Interior and Administration of July 28, 2023, on the examination for knowledge of the regulations concerning possession of weapons and the ability to use them (ISAP): https://isap.sejm.gov.pl/isap.nsf/DocDetails.xsp?id=WDU20230001475

The application includes an official set of 200 exam questions from the National Police Headquarters, a manual with a regulation for each topic, color illustrations, a review of errors, and a step-by-step guide to obtaining the permit, from application to receipt of the ID card. It is not intended for the sale of weapons or ammunition, and does not contain instructions for their manufacture.

To pass the firearms exam, you must complete all the questions and understand the regulations behind each answer. Good luck on your exam.
