Beautiful expansion of the original. Updated graphics and ships. A lot of improvements for ship building and management. Single player and works offline!!! But it has an MMO feel with a universe of NPC and factions. I would compare this to the original "Homeworld" it is that good. I haven't tried any scenario or combat yet, but I expect that is as good or better than the original. 11 stars.

Totally hooked on this game. I've never played a space sim that is better at conveying the feeling of running a galactic corporation. The ability to autonomously command multiple fleets and jump instantly to the pilot seat of any ship in your armada means you have a lot of flexibility in how you run things. Sick of bounty hunting? Jump to one of your Haulers and find some trade routes, or your Venture to transport some passengers, or just let them do it on their own while you explore. Great fun.

Awesome game, very 'X Universe'-like. Needs some updates to the trading system, so haulers aren't abandoning their home base to seek trades between completely different stations. Haulers could have a larger cargo hold. Needs the ability to save custom station designs, like it has for custom ship designs, so we aren't constantly reconfiguring new stations. I don't care if it costs more. I didn't care about it with ships, I don't care about it with stations. Other than that, it's a great game!
