Pixapix AD & CC Player

Pixapix AD & CC Player is a cinema accessibility player for authorised screenings. It helps viewers access encrypted Audio Description and Closed Caption packages during film playback.

The app downloads approved encrypted accessibility packages, unlocks them with a valid PIN, and synchronises local AD/CC playback with the film audio using the device microphone.

The app is designed to support CBFC accessibility guideline-aligned theatrical workflows for feature films, including Audio Description playback, Closed Caption display, headphone-first AD routing, and multilingual caption support for Indian film-language packages.

Pixapix AD & CC Player is not a film streaming service. It does not provide, sell, upload, stream, or distribute the original movie, video, or theatrical content. The main film is exhibited separately by the cinema, producer, distributor, or rights holder.

Language support depends on the encoded package. The player supports AD and CC packages for all CBFC film languages when valid audio, timed text, language metadata, and required font files are supplied.

Auto sync timing, lock speed, and playback alignment may vary by Android device, microphone hardware, speaker volume, auditorium acoustics, ambient noise, seating position, and headphone route. In difficult acoustic conditions, users may retry Sync/Play or use manual timing adjustment.
