Take a photo of your prescription: Pilou reads your medications, their quantities, timing, and duration, then suggests your pill organizer. Each medication is displayed with a clear summary: "That's correct" with a tap, or "Edit." No account creation required.

Pilou is a medication management tool. It is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and never replaces the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

A REMINDER FOR EVERY DOSE, EVEN WITH THE FREE PLAN
Morning, noon, night, bedtime: a reminder at the times you choose, with every plan. A tap on "I took it," and it's noted. By default, your reminders do not display the names of your medications. No ads, no account, no credit card required.

WHAT PILOU DOES FOR YOU
• Prescription reading: Names, quantities, times, and durations are read aloud and then submitted for your review, medication by medication.

• Step-by-step entry: No prescription handy? Add a medication by answering one question at a time, using large buttons.

• Guided refills: Take a picture of the new prescription, and Pilou calculates the refill date to seamlessly refill both prescriptions.

• "As needed" medications: For a pain reliever, Pilou remembers the time of your last dose.

• End of treatment and stock levels: An alert before the end of a treatment and tracking of remaining quantities (Pilou+).

• Medications for travel: How much to pack, calculated based on your pill organizer, including departure and return trips (Pilou+).

• PDF medication log: Up to one year of history, which you can share with your doctor or pharmacist if you wish (Pilou+).

YOUR DATA: WHAT'S ON YOUR PHONE, AND WHAT LEAVES IT
Your medications, dosages, and administration history are saved in the app on your phone and are not stored on our servers. Pilou does not create any account: no registration, no password. Once your medications are saved, reminders and the pill organizer work offline.

Some information does leave your phone, however, including: a photo of a prescription, transmitted to our servers for analysis by a Google service in the European Union, and which is not stored on any of our servers; your IP address, used to limit abuse; and usage statistics without identifying your device, which you can disable in the settings.

Subscription management is handled by Google Play and our service provider, RevenueCat, located in the United States, which is contacted as soon as the app is launched. Full details are available in the privacy policy, accessible in Pilou's settings.
