Overview

Features & Capabilities

Net Tools is a complete network toolkit that runs entirely on your device: thirty-one tools for Wi-Fi, cellular, LAN, DNS, HTTP/TLS, remote administration and local file sharing. No account, no ads, no analytics, no telemetry. Every measurement is taken by your own device, and results stay on it unless you export them.

── CONNECTION & HEALTH ──
• Live dashboard: transport, IPv4/IPv6, gateway, subnet, DNS servers, proxy
• Wi-Fi identity: SSID, BSSID, channel, band, width, security, link speed, signal
• Public IP over HTTPS with a labelled source and timestamp
• Explainable health check: internet validation, DNS, default route, signal and gateway reachability, each a pass or fail with evidence

── DIAGNOSTICS ──
• Ping over TCP, HTTP, HTTPS and best-effort ICMP, with min/avg/max, jitter and loss
• Continuous ping monitor as a foreground service, with optional overlay and widget
• Visual traceroute with per-hop latency, loss and bounded reverse DNS
• HTTP request builder (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, HEAD, headers, body) and TLS certificate chain, expiry and fingerprint inspection
• DNS toolkit: A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, SOA, TXT, PTR, SRV, CAA, reverse DNS, DNSSEC evidence, resolver comparison, DMARC parser
• Speed and quality test on configurable HTTPS endpoints, path MTU discovery, raw TCP tests and a real iPerf3 client

── WIRELESS ──
• Wi-Fi analyzer: nearby access points, 2.4/5/6 GHz channel and signal charts, congestion scoring and channel advice
• Cellular monitor: serving and neighbour cells, radio generation, band, channel and signal, multi-SIM aware
• Walk test with an on-device coverage plot and CSV, KML and GPX export, plus a Bluetooth LE survey

── LOCAL NETWORK ──
• Device discovery combining TCP, reverse DNS, mDNS and SSDP evidence
• Port and service scanner with TLS summaries and safe banner capture
• Service browser for mDNS/Bonjour and SSDP/UPnP, plus read-only NetBIOS and SNMP probes
• Unknown-device guard comparing scans against your trusted inventory
• Wake-on-LAN, router detection with a read-only OpenWrt connector, and a topology map

── REMOTE ADMINISTRATION ──
• A real SSH terminal — VT/ANSI emulation, xterm-256color, true colour, Unicode, scrollback and live resizing, not a command box
• SFTP browser and transfers, FTP and FTPS clients, and Telnet with persistent insecure-transport warnings
• SSH host-key pinning with SHA-256 confirmation, and profiles encrypted with an Android Keystore key
• Saved host monitoring with local alerts and optional ntfy, Gotify or webhook publishing
• Authorised remote Nmap through an SSH host you control
• IP, host, domain, RDAP/Whois, ASN and MAC/OUI lookups
• Email and domain health: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNSSEC, BIMI, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT and DNSBL

── UTILITIES & SHARING ──
• IPv4/IPv6 subnet calculator with VLSM planning, prefix subdivision and unit conversion
• Encoders (Base64, Base64URL, hex, URL percent, UTF-8 escapes), hashes and HMAC, password and passphrase generation, UUIDs, MAC tools, QR codes
• Searchable result workspace with notes, favourites and encrypted local backup
• HTTP/HTTPS file server with a browser UI, PIN or token login and per-client controls
• FTP/FTPS server with named accounts
• Peer-to-peer sharing over HTTPS with QR pairing and SHA-256 integrity

── PRIVACY BY CONSTRUCTION ──
• No account, no sign-in, no cloud
• No advertising, analytics, telemetry or third-party tracking libraries
• No device identifiers are read — no IMEI, no advertising ID, no Android ID
• Backup is off, so credentials never leave via system backup
• Servers you start are time-limited and stop when you say so

Built for network engineers, sysadmins, IT support, home-lab owners, security professionals and anyone who wants to understand what their network is really doing. Tools reach only the services you nominate, straight from your device — nothing is proxied, because we run no server.
